Information About Astragalus root:
Common Uses: Astragalus is a deep immune activator and an immunostimulant that increases the body's energy and resistance to disease. This root has antiviral, diuretic, and anti-tumor properties and may prevent tumor metastases.
Suggested Uses: 30 to 50 drops in water or juice three to four times daily or as recommended by your health practitioner.
Traditional Uses: Common cold, upper respiratory infection, increases production of blood cells, diabetes, nephritis, liver, hepatitis, anti-viral, anti-microbial, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hypertension(high blood pressure), angina, heart, radiation and chemotherapy, cancer.-
Herbal Anecdote: Used in China for more than 200 years, its Chinese name, Huang Qi means "yellow leader" referring to the yellow root.
