Information About Burdock root:
Common Uses: As a mild liver stimulant and nutritive blood cleansor, Burdock root is used to treat skin conditions, including acne, eczema or psoriasis. It is also reputed to have antitumor properties, and is often used as a mild laxative.
Suggested Uses: 40 to 60 drops in water or juice three to four times daily or as recommended by your health practitioner.
Traditional Uses: diuretic, lowers fever, antiseptic, anorexia, indigestion, dry skin.
Herbal Anecdote: A versitile plant, the leaves, stems and roots are edible, with a taste that combines potato and celery. Used as a substitute for celery root.Other names: Clotbur, Lappa, Beggar's Buttons, Pig's Rhubarb
