Information About Cleavers herb:
Common Uses: As a diuretic and urinary antiseptic, Cleavers is used to relieve symptoms of urinary tract infections and discomfort. As a lymphatic tonic, it is used for swollen glands and skin disorders and to clear persistent illness and toxins from the body.
Suggested Uses: 40 to 60 drops in water or juice three to four times daily or as recommended by your health practitioner.
Traditional Uses: Cystitis, nephritis, astrigent, dysuria, eczema, psoriasis, enlarged lymph nodes.
Herbal Anecdote: Other names: bedstrawThe small roots contain a pigment similar to madder that can be used in dyeing. The seeds can be dried and roasted for a coffee substitute. The fresh juice can be applied topically to dissolve scar tissue.
