Information About Dandelion root:
Common Uses: Dandelion root is nutritive and restorative to the liver as a mild blood cleanser. Dandelion is high in vitamins and minerals, and is a safe, gentle, effective diuretic (especially the leaf).
Suggested Uses: 40 to 60 drops in water or juice three to four times daily or as recommended by your health practitioner.
Traditional Uses: Hepatitis, gallstones, indigestion, constipation, flatulence.
Herbal Anecdote: The dandelion roots can be pickled or roasted as a coffee substitute. When roasted the roots become warming to the liver; when taken raw, they are cooling to the liver.
