Information About Eyebright herb:
Common Uses: Use for eye inflammations, conjunctivitis, allergies and recovery from cataract surgery. Eyebright may be used in a tea, externally, as an eye wash for sore eyes.(Make sure tea is cooled sufficiently and strained well before using as an eye wash. Do not place tincture in the eye.).
Suggested Uses: 30 to 50 drops in water or juice three to four times daily or as recommended by your health practitioner.
Traditional Uses: Sinusitis, allergies, inflammation of mucous membranes, blepharitis, coughs, hoarseness, ophthalmia, styes.
Herbal Anecdote: This semiparasitic herb extracts nutrients from the roots of certain grasses.
