Common Uses: LaxElixer is a gentle, reliable and pleasant tasting laxative syrup used as a lower bowel tonic for relief of temporary or chronic constipation. This syrup can be used as a less habit forming substitute for over the counter laxatives.
Suggested Uses: Take 1-2 tablespoons before bedtime.
Traditional Uses: Hepatitis, gallstones, indigestion, constipation, flatulence.
Herbal Anecdote: The dandelion roots can be pickled or roasted as a coffee substitute. When roasted the roots become warming to the liver; when taken raw, they are cooling to the liver.
