Information About Woman's Licorice Wild Yam Salve:
Common Uses: A moisturizing, lubricating salve to soothe vaginal dryness or to be applied to the skin and soft tissues to help balance hormones during menopause. This salve may also be helpful to relieve symptoms of PMS and post-partum hormonal balancing.
Suggested Uses: External use only. Apply to skin and soft tissue two to three times per day.

The blood red anointing oil produced by soaking the plant in olive was known as the “blood of Christ”. Its botanical name Hypericum, derived from the Greek hyperieum, means “over an apparition”. It was believed that St. Johnswort was so offensive to evil spirits that one whiff would drive them away. |
