Prickly Ash bark - Latin Name: (Zanthoxylum clava-herculis)

Herbal Anecdote: Prickly Ash bark earned itself an incredible reputation in 1849-1850 for remedying an outbreak of Asiatic Cholera. It was also a main ingredient in a very popular compound used to treat syphilis, and was chosen for inclusion in Hoxsey's famous cancer cure.
